FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

YOUR FIRST VISIT

We understand that coming to a new dental surgery can be an anxious experience. That is why we aim to make your first visit as relaxing as possible. We will usually phone to remind you of your appointment a few days beforehand. We are usually running on time, but please bear with us if we are occasionally delayed in seeing you.

Once you are brought in, we will discuss what brought you to our practice, what your needs and desires are from our practice and how we can help you achieve them. A check-up is generally given to all new patients, which may include xrays and other diagnostic test to aid in developing a treatment plan. We always strive to give you a range of treatment options as we understand not all plans may be affordable or suitable for every patient.

Once we have reached an agreement and a plan made, we will try and perform treatment on the same visit, especially if the patient is in pain. Otherwise, a written quote is given and another appointment made. We always strive to allow enough time to make each visit relaxing and unrushed.

We actively encourage patients to ask questions and take ownership over their oral health. Looking after your mouth is a long-term investment, and we are there with you every step of the journey.
